Bonjour,
Je souhaiterais installer Gnu Cobol sur mon Pc Windows, pour me permettre de programmer en Cobol, langage que j'ai pratiquer en début de ma carrière. Mais je ne trouve pas de procedure detaillée.

Si vous voulez le support ISAM (pour les fichiers indexés), choisissez un binaire avec Berkeley DataBase (BDB) ou VBISAM. Notez que la licence BDB peut être restrictive pour la redistribution. Crazy Cattle 3D

To install GnuCOBOL on a Windows 10 computer, follow these steps:

Download the GnuCOBOL installer package. Visit the GnuCOBOL Windows version release page; we recommend using the GnuCOBOL Windows Installer from SourceForge.

Install dependencies

GnuCOBOL typically relies on the MinGW environment. The installer usually includes these dependencies, but MinGW can be installed separately if needed.

Run the installer

After downloading, double-click the installer and follow the prompts to complete installation. The default installation directory is typically C:\GnuCOBOL or a similar path.

Configure environment variables

Add GnuCOBOL's bin directory to the system's PATH environment variable. Follow these steps:

Right-click “This PC” → ‘Properties’ → “Advanced system settings” → “Environment Variables”

Under “System variables,” locate “Path,” click Edit, and add the GnuCOBOL bin directory path (e.g., C:\GnuCOBOL\bin)

Click OK to save.

Verify the installation by opening the Command Prompt and entering `cobc --version`. If version information appears, the installation was successful.
