Hey everyone, I’m hoping to get some advice on safely backing up large archives. I’ve been working on organizing my digital files, and I have several large archives (mostly .zip and .rar files, some over 10GB) that contain important documents, photos, and project files. I want to back them up to an external hard drive, but I’m worried about file corruption during the process—I’ve had issues in the past where files got corrupted mid-transfer, and I really don’t want to lose anything.

What’s the best way to back up these large archives to ensure they stay intact? Are there specific tools or settings I should use to verify the files after transferring? I’m using a Windows 10 PC, and my external drive is formatted as NTFS, if that helps. I’d also love to know if there’s a way to automate this process for regular backups without risking data loss. Thanks so much for any tips—I really appreciate the help!
