It seems like the industry has been cutting corners for a long time, and it's now coming back to bite them in the butt. As for solutions, maybe it's time for haulage companies to start investing in driver training again and incentivize their current drivers to stay in the profession. It's also important for the industry to start treating drivers fairly and pay them what they're worth.
